Ten of these cardinals are eligible to vote in future conclaves due to their age. Pope Francis aims to ensure global representation in the conclave. Currently, 128 out of 225 cardinals are electors, with over half appointed by Francis, a third by Benedict XVI, and 14% by John Paul II.
