FDR and Eleanor Roosevelt Aboard USS Potomac

President Roosevelt visits a yard where 13 submarines are to be built, accompanied by his son John, his wife, and Clark Roosevelt on the presidential yacht Potomac. At the Boston Navy Yard, where 9000 men are working at full speed, the President remarks on the progress of the Navy program. He, along with Navy Secretary Knox, views the frigate Old Ironsides and discusses plans for 733 new ships, referred to as New Ironsides.
