VOICED : Mas de 140.000 efectivos custodiaran elecciones en Venezuela

Over 140,000 military and police will secure the upcoming elections in Venezuela, where 23 governors will be elected. Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López and Tibisay Lucena, President of the National Electoral Council, assure a transparent and secure election process. They reject any attempts to disrupt the elections. Padrino is confident that post-election, democracy and dialogue with the opposition will strengthen. Government and opposition delegates met in the Dominican Republic for exploratory talks, but the opposition's Democratic Unity Roundtable halted them, citing a lack of a clear agenda.
