Hong Kong Polytechnic University Cleared Of Protesters

The protest at Hong Kong Polytechnic University has ended, with all demonstrators leaving the campus. The protest, which began in mid-November, saw demonstrators armed with bows, arrows, and gasoline bombs clashing with police. Over 1100 people were arrested, and the campus is now being cleared of hazardous materials. The Cross Harbour Tunnel has reopened after debris was cleared. Protests in Hong Kong have calmed following pro-democracy wins in District Council elections, but further rallies are planned.
