In Honduras, hundreds of residents blocked a road to prevent the burial of COVID-19 victims near their communities. Health authorities reported that in several areas, locals have stopped funeral processions, forcing families to find alternative burial sites. Some families have even rejected their deceased relatives due to fears of contamination, despite the bodies being sealed. Honduras has reported over a thousand COVID-19 cases and more than 80 deaths.
