Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited Costa Rica to strengthen trade and investment ties. He signed a memorandum with Costa Rican officials to enhance cooperation in infrastructure, cultural exchanges, and clean energy. Wang Yi's itinerary includes stops in Panama and the US, where he will speak at the UN Assembly. Despite China's close ties with North Korea, Wang Yi declined to comment on North Korea's recent missile launch over Japan.
