A significant fire in Paraisópolis, Sao Paulo, destroyed around 50 homes. Despite the efforts of 90 firefighters and 24 vehicles, the community also had to fight the flames. Fortunately, there were no fatalities, and only one person was treated for smoke inhalation. The fire, which started suddenly in the morning, left many residents homeless. Paraisópolis is home to approximately 42,000 people, though some sources suggest higher numbers. Fires in these areas are often due to overloaded electrical systems, with 102 incidents reported this year.
