Dr. Rubén Brillansky, the Health Secretary and personal physician to the President, announced the successful removal of a thyroid nodule from the President. The President is awake and recovering well. He will spend a few days in the Military Hospital and then continue his recovery at the official residence, Los Pinos, where he will have private activities.
