VOICED : Paris abrira su primer centro para refugiados en octubre

Paris will open its first temporary refugee center in October, as announced by Mayor Anne Hidalgo. The center will initially have 400 beds, expanding to 600 by year-end, with an additional 350 places for vulnerable individuals at another location. The initial cost is $7.25 million, with Paris covering 80% and later 50% of operational costs. The center will provide rest, medical check-ups, psychological help, and job assistance for migrants. Since June 2015, evictions of migrants from unsuitable camps and buildings have increased.
