In Villarrica, Cauca, a car bomb attack attributed to the Farc resulted in six deaths, including two minors, and injured around thirty people. This was the second such attack in 48 hours, following a motorcycle bomb in Tumaco, Nariño, which caused nine deaths and 69 injuries. The Colombian government has attributed both attacks to the Farc and has increased military presence in the affected areas.
