China used microchips to infiltrate U.S. company servers

A Chinese military unit secretly embedded microchips into motherboards during production in China. These compromised motherboards were supplied to Super Micro Computer in California and used in servers by nearly 30 U.S. companies, including Apple and Amazon. The microchips allowed Chinese hackers to access data centers, steal information, connect with other servers, and alter operations.
