A super constellation aircraft made history by flying a live baby white whale from Montreal to Manchester. The whale, named Little Titch, was found stranded in the St. Lawrence River. During the flight, she was kept comfortable with ice, seawater, and wet muslin, and fed clams and cream. Upon arrival, she was taken to Flamingo Park Zoo in Yorkshire. Titch is expected to grow significantly and will be accompanied by a performing dolphin. Post-flight, she received a massage to ease stiffness from the journey.
