The Vertical City is a proposed self-sustaining, zero-energy building designed to house 25,000 people. It will be located on the seabed near the mainland and accessible by land, sea, and air. The cylindrical building will feature photovoltaic glazing for solar energy and hexagonal openings for natural light and ventilation. The city aims to reduce poverty, noise, and pollution while producing significant solar energy. Designed by Luca Curci Architects, the 750-meter skyscraper will have 10 modular layers with mixed-use spaces and over 200,000 square meters of green space.
