In 1995, the Hubble Telescope captured an image of over 1,500 galaxies in a tiny area of the sky, revealing the vastness of the universe. This Deep Field image showed galaxies in a minuscule fraction of the night sky, highlighting the scale of the cosmos. Later, the eXtreme Deep Field (XDF) image revealed 10,000 galaxies, some so distant they are barely visible. These images act as time machines, allowing us to observe galaxies from over 13 billion years ago, shortly after the Big Bang. The findings suggest the universe is homogeneous, with similar images across different sky regions, emphasizing the universe's vastness and uniformity.
