WILD ANIMALS

I’m going to give a talk about animals.

You know I live in the region where you can see ​ (a)   deer, moose, foxes, wolves, hares and squirrels. It's amazing to see them in the wild. But, I think it's not a good idea to keep wild animals as pets. They need their natural habitats, and they can be ​ (b)   too.  I wouldn’t recommend anybody to have a wild animal as a pet. Nowadays practically in every town and city there is a zoo. People build zoos to ​ (c)   wild animals. Children are fond of going there to watch the animals. People can also learn more about the life of different animals.

Zoos have their advantages and disadvantages, so my attitude to them cannot

be strongly positive or negative. I think zoos are a good thing. But, I also think we need to make sure the animals have lots of space and are ​ (d)   well. I think that’s all that I wanted to tell you about animals.
