Antoni Gaudí, a renowned Spanish architect, was born in 1852 and became famous for his nature-inspired designs. He studied architecture in Barcelona and showcased his work at the Paris World's Fair in 1878. Gaudí's unique style, known as equilibrated architecture, allowed structures to stand without internal bracing. His major works include the Sagrada Família, Casa Batlló, and Casa Milà. Gaudí dedicated his later years to the Sagrada Família, living on-site until his death in 1926. His legacy continues, with the Sagrada Família set to be completed in 2026.
