rRNA

mRNA

• Messenger RNA. Copies DNA codes for proteins in the nucleus and takes it to the ribosome in the cytoplasm.

• Transfer RNA. Transfers amino acids to the ribosome during protein synthesis.

• Small nuclear RNA. Involved in the splicing of pre-mRNA.
