Current

• Measure of the flow of electrons through wires measured in amperes (A) and milliamps (mA).

• A type of electrical resistance measured in ohms (Ω).

• The potential difference between two points measured in volts (V).

• The rate at which electrical energy is consumed measured in watts (W).

Blade

• The sharp edge of a knife.

Hub

Renewable Energy

• Energy derived from fossil fuels that are finite and non-replenishable.

• Energy derived from natural processes that are replenished constantly, such as wind, solar, and hydroelectric power.

Power

• Measure of how quickly energy is generated or used. Measured in Watts (W) and milliwatts (mW).

Variable

• A constant factor that remains unchanged in an experiment.

• Any factor that can be controlled, changed, or measured in an experiment.

• A type of measurement used in statistical analysis.

• An irrelevant factor that does not affect the outcome of an experiment.

Torque

• A measure of the rotational force applied to an object, such as a turbine blade, causing it to rotate. Measured in Newton-meters (Nm).

• A type of linear force that acts on an object in a straight line.

• The amount of energy required to lift an object against gravity.

• A measure of the speed at which an object rotates.
