In activity 2, step 3, you are introduced to grounding a component. What does it mean to ground a component?

• Locks the component in its current position.

• Brings the component to the "ground" of the model

• Grounds the model so it does not conduct electricity

• Temporarily makes the component invisible

How do you know if a component has been grounded?

• A small anchor appears next to its name

• The object turns brown

• A lock appears next to its name

• A lock glyph appears next to the component

Holding the ____ key will help keep the glyphs on the screen while you are trying to snap different aspects of the join.
