Insomnia

What is insomnia?

• A condition characterized by excessive sleepiness during the day

Retina

Cornea

Temporal Lobes

• Lying roughly above the ears, auditory areas, receiving info primarily from the opposite ear, language processing

• Situated in the brainstem, controlling basic life functions like breathing and heart rate

Myelin Sheath

• a fatty tissue layer segmentally encasing the axons of some neurons; speeds up neural transmission speed
