Once they are approved, refugees need to find funds to get from their home to America. After coming to America refugees get help with housing, schools, and how to navigate in America.
Immigration today is controversial and confusing. In the early 1900's once immigrants passed the Ellis Island examination they were able to start their life in America. It was hard work and many people returned home.
