A geophysicist and explorer named Pasquale Scaturro paddled the Nile River with filmmaker Gordon Brown in 2004. The river measures more than 4,100 miles and flows past a variety of landscapes as well as ancient cities and the Egyptian pyramids. An IMAX film was made about their journey.
