My school held special events to celebrate the Independence Day a while ago. Every class participated in various contests. There were three contests: painting, singing and traditional dancing. I joined the traditional dancing contest with my classmates. We would perform Piring Dance, a traditional dance from West Sumatra.

 

      Before the contest began, our teachers, school officials and principal presented their special performances. They performed a funny song and dance. They were so cool and hilarious. All the students were laughing at their amusing performance.

 

      During the contest, my classmates and I performed our dance beautifully, so did the other contestants. It made me feel nervous if we won or not. The others must feel the same. But, our class captain lifted up our spirit. Our class teacher also cheered on us. Then, the principal announced that we won. We were so happy. This event will be an unforgettable experience for me.

The Clever Crow and the Pitcher
One hot summer day, a thirsty crow was flying over a field. The crow searched everywhere for water but couldn’t find any. Finally, it saw a pitcher near a house. The crow flew down and looked inside the pitcher. To its disappointment, there was only a little water at the bottom. The crow tried to reach the water with its beak, but it was too far down.

The crow then thought of a clever idea. It began picking up small pebbles and dropping them into the pitcher one by one. Slowly, the water level rose higher and higher. Eventually, the crow could reach the water and quenched its thirst. The crow flew away happily, knowing that its cleverness had saved its life.

How To Make Blended Iced Mocachino 

Ingredients: 

·         1/2 cup of strong coffee 

·         1 cup of ice cubes 

·         2 cup skim milk 

·         3 tablespoons of sugar 

·         1/4 cup of cream 

·         whipped cream (optional) 

Instructions: 

1.      Brew a cup of coffee. Let it cool. 

2.      Put the ice cubes in the blender and pour the coffee over them. 

3.      Add milk, sugar, and cream.
