What is lightning?

• Lightning is a flash of electricity between clouds or between clouds and the ground.
• Lightning is the sound we hear when air explodes.
• Lighting is the energy which comes from the sun.

What is thunder?

• Thunder is the sound we hear after a lighting strike because the air around it explodes.
• Thunder is all of the clouds we see in the sky.
• Thunder is a flash of electricity.
