• Noah was a righteous man who lived during a time when the earth was filled with corruption and violence.

• God decided to send the flood because humanity had become wicked and corrupt.

• God asked Noah to build an ark, a large boat, to save his family and two of every kind of animal from the coming flood.

• Noah was told to bring two of every kind of animal, one male and one female. For some animals, such as clean animals, Noah was instructed to bring seven pairs.
