How to Change Motorcycle Brake Fluid
Brake fluid functions to push the piston in the brake caliper so that the brake pads can clamp the disc according to the pressure when the brake master lever is pulled. Brake fluid must be replaced to prevent damage to the master seal.
Tools and Materials:
Phillips and flathead screwdrivers
8 mm wrench
12 mm wrench or star-shaped hex key
50 ml of brake fluid
Steps:
Attach a small transparent hose to the bleeder valve.
Drain the old brake fluid.
Open the brake master cylinder.
Refill with new brake fluid.
Bleed the air from the disc brakes.
