Architect Marcio Kogan's decision to build a shop out of discarded shipping containers​ (a)   his client's request for a low-budget furniture showroom that could be built quickly. ​ (b)   they didn't want to damage palm trees on the site, the design needed to be narrow-making the 2.5 metre-wide containers the perfect choice.
