Narrative Text: "The Enchanted Forest"
Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Elara who lived in a small village on the edge of an enchanted forest. Many villagers warned her never to enter the forest, for it was filled with strange creatures and powerful magic. But Elara, curious and brave, wanted to uncover the secrets hidden within.
One morning, she decided to venture into the forest. As she walked deeper, the trees seemed to whisper, and the path ahead twisted and turned in ways that made her feel lost. Suddenly, she came across a silver fox with glowing eyes.
"Who are you, and why have you come to this dangerous place?" asked the fox in a voice as soft as the wind.
"I seek the truth about the magic of this forest," Elara replied.
The fox stared at her for a long moment before nodding. "Very well. But to continue, you must pass three tests, each harder than the last."
Elara agreed, and the fox led her deeper into the forest. Her first test was to find her way out of a maze made of thorny bushes. With quick thinking and courage, she found the exit. The second test was to catch a beam of sunlight, which she managed by using a mirror she carried. The final test was the hardest: Elara had to face her greatest fear—being alone in complete darkness.
Though terrified, Elara closed her eyes and remembered the light she had captured earlier. She focused on it, and slowly the darkness began to fade. When she opened her eyes, the fox stood before her, smiling.
"You have passed the tests. The truth you seek is this: Magic is not something to be feared, but something to be understood. Your bravery and heart have proven you are worthy of this knowledge."
With that, the fox disappeared, and Elara returned to her village, forever changed.
Why did Elara decide to enter the enchanted forest?
