Our body has different ways to stop us from being infected with diseases. We call these the body's defences against diseases.

Diseases can be speard by body contact and in food, in water and in the air. There are different ways we can help to control the spread of diseases

• Keep wounds covered with a plaster

• Keep the kitchen, toilet and surroundings clean

• Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze
