What should you do?

• Give them your details.

• Only tell them your name.

• Don't give them your name or address.

A friend suggests you should use a selfie to create a new gaming account.

What should you do?

• Create an avatar for your account rather than using a photo.

Someone who you have played online games with for a number of years has asked to meet you.

What should you do?

• Ask another friend from school to meet your online gaming friend with you. That way, it will be safer.

• Arrange to meet your online friend. You have known them a long time and it will be safe.

• Don't meet them. They could be pretending to be someone they are not.

Someone you don't know has sent you a request to join a game you are playing. When you ignore it, they start sending you messages.

What should you do?

• Add them as your friend and start talking to them.

• Block them and tell an adult you trust.

• Ask them for picture to prove who they are.

Someone in a game wants to make a trade with you. You are unsure whether or not to trust them.

What should you do?

• Trade some items you didn't want anyway.

• Ask which items they want to trade.

• Say 'no' if you are unsure. If they keep messaging you, then report them or tell an adult you trust.

Someone in your class is planning to meet up with a gaming friend they have met online.

What should you do?

• Disagree with your friend. It isn't a good idea to meet people you don't know from online games. Then let them decide what to do.

• Tell your friend that they should never meet someone they only know online. If you are worried about your friend, tell an adult you trust.

• Tell them that you would like to come too.
