MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTION

Does the sample introduction below explain the 2 key terms (important and memorable) separately?

An important character in a literary text is one who impacts and influences other characters in the novel. Additionally, a character who is significant is also one through whom the writer explores key themes and social concerns in the novel. On the other hand, a memorable character is one who is unforgettable because he or she possesses outstanding qualities which are rare and exceptional, or admirable because he possesses great moral virtue. To me, Michael is both important and significant due to the reasons above. First, he serves as the leader of the telepaths, providing them with guidance and wisdom in times of crisis. Second, he also catalyses their growth and maturity, as he shares the educational insights gained in school with them. Lastly, he also serves as Wyndham's mouthpiece at times, especially when he humanises the Fringes people and encourages the telepaths to extend both pity and compassion towards them.
