Classroom Expectations

When you enter the classroom, what should you do?

• Ask to go to the bathroom

• Go directly to your assigned seat and start on your bell work

• You are in the classroom and seated in your chair when the bell rings

If you do not have a sharpened pencil and you need one, what should you do?

• Sharpen your pencil with the pencil sharpener next to the door

• Announce very loudly that you do not have a pencil

• Trade a dull pencil for a sharpened one on the table in front of Mrs. Holtry's desk

• Take one from a classmate

Where should you keep track of all your assignments and due dates?

• On a random paper in your binder

• Outlook Calendar

• Ask Mrs. Holtry over and over

• In your brain

What is a place students should NOT go in the room?

• To an empty spot on the floor if you need more room

• To the horseshoe table in the middle of the room

• Behind Mrs. Holtry's desk

If you have paper work to turn in, where should it go?

• Hold it up in Mrs. Holtry's face so she knows you are done.

• In the basket labeled with your class hour on the table in front of Mrs. Holtry's desk.

• Leave it on your table. Mrs. Holtry will see it and take care of it.
