You receive a message online from someone you do not know asking for your address. The person says she works with your parent/carer and wants to send them a birthday card. Why is this a risky situation?

What should you do if a person who claims to know your parent/carer asks for your address?

• Ask an adult before responding

• Send the address. It'll be okay as they know your parent/carer.

• Give a fake address because you don't know who the person really is.
