• It's a reference to Hansel and Gretel. Minho cut ivy and threw it on the ground to help them fnd their way

• As a reference to Hansel and Gretel, Thomas warns them about the woman with bad intentions who will trap them in the maze

• This is a reference to Little Red Ridng Hood, who took breadcrumbs to Grandmother's house and went thrugh a maze to get there.
