Positive/Neg tu commands with pronouns

For positive/affirmative tú commands:

• attach the pronouns to the end of the verb

• put the pronouns in from of the verb

For negative tu commands we:

• attach the pronouns to the end of the verb

• put the pronouns in front of the verb

The acronym we use to remember the order of pronouns is:

• DIR

• RID

• DRI

For positive/affirmative commands, we remember the irregulars by the phrase:

All of the verbs that are irregular in the negative tu command form originally had the letter (a)   at the end of them in the "yo" form.
