Analogous structures

• Body parts that have similar functions but do not have the same function

• Body parts that don't have similar functions and do have similar structure

• Body parts that are broken and beyond repair that serve a function

Molecular Homology

• A similarity in position or structure that can lead to it's most recent member

• A difference in position of structure that can lead back to it's origins

• A degree of similarity in position or structure of something that could lead back to it's origins

• the structure and position of a bone that can tell if one has broken their bone before

Adaption

• the process in which an organisms able to it's habitat but doesn't live for very long

• the process where organisms die more easily due to adaption of the environment

• process where a cell becomes better able to adapt to it's habitat

• the evolutionary process whereby an organism becomes better able to live in its habitat or habitats

Fitness

• the amount you exercise and how fit you get

• an organism's ability to pass its genetic material to its offspring

• organism's ability to move something from one place, to another

• organism's ability to workout and lift weights

Evolution

• genotypic material that's population decreases the population over time

• process that results in changes in the phenotypic material of one over time

• process that results in changes in the genetic material of a population over time

• the process in which genetic material changes over time and results in the population of it lowers leading to very few of them being around now

Variation

• any difference between the individuals in a species or groups of organisms of any species

• difference between individuals in their phenotypic ratios

Descent with modification

• the idea that species don't change over time and all modern day species are the same as they were millions of years ago

• the idea that species change over time, give rise to new species, and share a common ancestor
