What is active voice?

• Active voice is when the verb performs the action expressed by the subject.
• Active voice is only used in passive sentences.
• The subject of the sentence does not perform the action expressed by the verb.
• The subject of the sentence performs the action expressed by the verb.

What is passive voice?
