We haven't learned 動/どう、but it's a useful kanji that means "move".

For example, a 動画/どうが is literally a "moving picture"; thus, a video.

A 動物/どうぶつ is an "animal" (literally, moving thing), and a 動物園/どうぶつえん is a zoo (literally, "animal park", using the 園/えん from 公園/こうえん for "park").

運動/うんどう is "exercise", and an 運動場/うんどうじょう is "athletic field".

On its own, it's 動く/うごく and it means "to move".

You may have also seen it in the title of Howl's Moving Castle: ハウルの動く城/ハウルのうごくしろ.
