Son of Man- Means that Jesus is born by humans but truly is divine.

Second Coming (of Christ)- Jesus will descend upon a cloud with his angels, gathering his elect, the people who accepted him and followed his teaching.

Eschaton- refers to the final and ultimate event or state of existence, often associated with the end times and the culmination of God's plan for the world. It encompasses themes of judgment, resurrection, and the establishment of a new and perfected order, as described in various prophetic and apocalyptic texts. What shall come to pass closer to Christ's coming.

Kingdom of God/kingdom of heaven- heaven is where God dwells. Jesus often speaks of it in his teaching. When Jesus comes a second time all the people who accepted him/God will be there.

Apocalyptic literature- A genre of Literature in which details concerning the end-time are revealed by a heavenly messenger or angel.

Apostle- an apostle is a messenger of Christ, sharing his teachings and life's story.

Disciple- a disciple is a follower of Christ. Twelve disciples were chosen to follow/accompany him in his Journey to then be crucified.

Parable- is a short story told by Jesus to the multitudes but has a deeper meaning to it.

Discourses (Gospel according to Matthew)- the discourses refer to five different sections of teaching by Jesus. The sermon on the mount, the mission, discourse of the parable, on community of the faithful, and apocalyptic discourses are the five discourses which teach about what it means to be a believer of Christ.

Sermon on the Mount- It includes the beatitudes and Jesus' feelings about the Jewish law. It also talks about how to interpret the ten commandments and also how to fast and pray.
