• Native Americans were given land in Oklahoma by the U.S. government after their traditional land had been taken away. Unfortunately, this land was later made available to settlers, and they were forced to move again.

• Native Americans were able to make a treaty with the U.S. government. The treaty stated that they would keep the land in Oklahoma. This created a positive relationship between the two groups and the Native Americans were never mistreated again.
