What is the main idea? Baboons live in groups called troops. The troops can have as many as eighty baboons in them. The strongest male is the troop leader, but some troops have more than one leader. The weaker males and all the females obey the leader. The troop moves around the plains together. Sometimes a troop will stay near a herd of antelope. The herd warns the baboons of danger. In return, the baboons scare away the leopards.
