the highest award a local FFA chapter can bestow upon its members. To earn this degree, usually awarded in the second year of taking Agri-science courses, members must have a good SAE program, earned and invested $150 or worked 45 unpaid hours outside of class, complete a minimum of 10 community service hours, lead a group discussion for 15 minutes, demonstrate 5 parliamentary procedures, have a good scholastic record, and have earned the Greenhand Degree.

The State Degree is the highest award a state FFA association can bestow upon its members. It is awarded at State Convention. Must have: Have received the Chapter FFA Degree, Have been an active FFA member for at least 2 years, Have earned and productively invested at least $1,500 or un-paid placement hours, Must have an accumulative GPA of 2.0,Completed at least 25 hours of community service in a minimum of two different activities and others

awarded to FFA members who have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to FFA and made significant accomplishments in their SAE. To be eligible to receive the this FFA Degree from the National FFA Organization, the member must meet the following minimum qualifications: Have received the State FFA Degree, Have been an active member for the past three years, Completed at lest 50 hours of community service in a minimum of three different activities, Have achieved a high school scholastic record of “C” or better and more!
