Clicking on the button indicated will allow me to

• Apply formatting

• Sort Data

• Count Items

• Format Cells

To convert this range of cells into an Excel table I need to:

• Click on the 'Insert' tab (ribbon) and choose Table

• Copy the cells and paste to a new worksheet

• Copy and paste the cells into a new Excel file
• Change the cell format to 'Table'

The formatting in Column F (left) is called:

• Colour Scale

• Cell Formatting

• Icon Set

• Data Bars

When your data is set out like this.....

• Columns are known as records

• Individual cells are known as names

• Rows are known as records

• The first row is known as Pivot Fields

The conditional formatting rules manager enables me to.....

• Sort the cells previously activated

• Apply a filter to the chosen cells

• Apply a function to the active cell

• Edit existing rules
