The Miracle of Catching Huge Amounts of Fish

What did Jesus see when he was preaching to the crowd by the lake?

Jesus asked Simon Peter to put his nets into the water

to try to catch some ……

What happened when Simon Peter let the net down? 

• Nothing happened

• he caught more fish than they could carry

• He caught only one fish

What does Jesus tell the men at the end of the story?

• He told them that they 

  would be fishers of men.

• He told them to go and have some rest

• He told them to cook the fish and eat

When Jesus told Peter to put down his net and catch fish, what did Peter do? 

• He said: no, I’m tired .

• He still chose to obey, although he was fishing all night and didn’t catch any fish.

• He asked Jesus for a proof that if he listens to him, he will catch more fish.

Why did Peter ask Jesus to leave the boat after this miracle?

• Because Peter didn’t want anyone on the boat with him

• because Peter knew that he was sinful and did not deserve all of 

  the fish that they had caught.

What does it mean to be a fisher of men?

• It means that they will be the ones to 

  tell everyone else about Jesus and convince them that Jesus is the only way to have 

  life.

What should we do if we are struggling or unable to do something after trying many times?

• We should ask God for help

• We should never give up

• We should trust and have faith in God that he sees our struggle.
