Dear Sir / Madam I enrolled on your course ‘car mechanics 1’ in August and have attended three sessions. When I originally enquired about the course, I was told that it was suitable for people with no previous knowledge of car mechanics. But in fact everyone else on the course seems to know a lot already. So despite the fact that the lesson generally start with a basic concept, they move very quickly onto more complicated ideas. I don’t blame the teacher. On the contrary, he does his best to explain concepts to me. But I feel that I am just holding everyone else back. They know how engine works already, whereas I have no background at all in mechanics. I was going to leave it a couple of weeks before saying anything, but in the last session I felt so out of my depth that I have decided to write now and ask for a refund. Last month the company sent me on a two week-week ‘professional English’ course at Falcon Business Language Training in west London. I stayed with a host family in west London.
