Acceptance criteria for initial process study is

• Index > 1.67

• Index < 1.33

• 1.67< Index < 2.00

• Index < 1.00

Level 4 submission requires to

• Retain all 18 documents

• Submit PSW only, others retain at appropriate locations & submit to customer upon request

• Retain all docs. Only submit samples

• Submit PSW only, others retain at appropriate locations & make visible upon customer request

PPAP shall be submit for below condition, except:

• a new part or product

• correction on discrepency on a previously submitted part

• engineering change

• Normal maintenance repair

Typically for process control, Gage R&R and ndc values in MSA study are

• R&R<=10%, ndc>=5

• R&R=30%, ndc>=1

• R&R>30%, ndc=0.5

• R&R<=10%, ndc>=10

Why IMDS required?

• It is declaration of what material used in Part

• It is declaration actual result of used material

• Both answer is correct
