• They escaped with Grovers help, who flew above them, and rescued both by talking one by one flying with his flying shoes.

• They escaped from the robo-spiders when Percy thought about waves and rushing water, so Water exploded out of the pipes, sweeping away the spiders.

• Grover turned on the controls of the love tunnel in order to move them out from the robo-spiders.
