• Undocumented individuals & teens brought into the US as children, or younger than 16

How often DACA can be renew?

• Once year

• Every four years

What was the purpose for DACA?

• To give health care to people

• To give education to the needy

• to protect from deportation, access to education and job opportunities

• Defend you from political abuse

How many people has benefited from DACA since its creation?

• More than 300.000 thousand

• More than 1 million

Who is eligible for DACA?

• Anyone who was a child by June 2012

• Anyone who had legal parents when he was a child

• Anyone undocumented who was younger than 31 by June 15th, 2012

• Anyone with no papers and older than 31 years old by June 15th, 2012

Who else could also apply for DACA?

• Everyone who was living in the U.S. at least for 2 years prior to the law.

• Anyone who was living in the USA for the last year 5 years prior to June 15th., 2012

• Nobody else, it was just for children

• All children

Is DACA a passage to citizenship?

• Yes, DACA kids can become legal residents

• Yes , DACA recipients can become citizens

• No DACA can give residence, but not citizenship

• DACA does not provide a pathway for citizenship or legal status

Why was DACA started?

• Executive order by Obama after failed attempts to pass the Dream Act in Congress

• It was created to complement the Dreamers goals
