Solutions to the food shortage

• FAO (Food and Agriculture Organisation)

  Provided 800,000 farming, fishing and pastoral households with vegetable and crop seeds, along with other equipment.

• UNICEF

  Prevent malnutrition by providing health and wash services, counselling on appropriate infant feeding and hygiene practices

• WFP (World Food Program)

  Provide life-saving food and cash distributions in areas with working markets

• FAO- Project rehabilitates those flooded on the Malarial river and improves watermelon growth along the river Nile.

• FAO- Holds camps teaching women fish preservation even using bones to create soup
