How can we see light?

• Light travels in wavy lines from a light source. It reflects off an object and enters the eye through the pupil

• Light travels in straight lines from a light source. It reflects off an object and enters the eye through the pupil

• Light travels in zigzag lines from a light source. It reflects off an object and enters the eye through the pupil

• Light travels in straight lines from a light source and into our pupils.

What is a man-made light source?

• Man made light sources are objects like lightbulbs and torches

• Man-made light sources come from the Earth

• Man-made light sources are brighter because of how they are made.

What is the purpose of these light sources?

• These light sources are being used to tell us what is happening.

• The purpose of these light sources are to let us know we can do something safely.

Why do we get night and day?

• We get night and day because the moon rotates around the Earth

• We get night and day because Earth rotates on an axis around the sun

How does the light allow us to see objects?

• The light allows us to see objects by showing us its reflection

• The light allows us to see objects by travelling around the object and into our eye

• The light allows us to see objects by travelling in straight lines, bouncing off an object and that picture being reflected into our eyes.

• The light allows us to see objects by travelling in straight lines, hitting our pupil and then we can see the object.
